So the game at Peterborough...
Was there any noticeable tactical change?

Any sign of pass and move? Of the defensive high line? Of the pressing style?

Haven't heard much of the actual.match particulars. Obviously a pre-season friendly so hard to read too much into it, but be good to hear about those aspects of things.

Thanks anyone that was there.

He picked the players from that day but it was a more general comment, not just about that game because "Mark" did score, that was what prompted it.

Could be nothing, could be that he has not written him off yet.

Samuelson and Pike were the highlights for me.

That's ok, as long as he isn'talking future tense.

Re: So the game at Peterborough...
Hardly a worry, he was talking about the midfielder's involved in that game as an example or do the ones that didn't play not have to chip in then?

That's a worry.

Re: So the game at Peterborough...
Bilic was talking about "Mark, Kevin and Pedro" (the order may be off) needing to provide more goals, if he was leaving soon or completely out of the plans, he might not have mentioned him.

I sincerely hope not Polite. I'd rather not see him playing at all, he offers absolutely nothing now, but I suppose there is the 'shop window' arguement..

Re: So the game at Peterborough...
Think the real hope is that he won't be here PD - I mean at the club not just amongst fans.

I would imagine Reid would then be top of the list to replace him. He is as guaranteed as anyone to play if fit.

Could see Noble being club captain with Reid as team captain.

That said I think a football captain is a bit of a nothing job really and is more of a honour than anything of use. Is it the Spain national side that just give it to the player with the most caps?

Re: So the game at Peterborough...
I saw the highlights of this and it was painful to still see that waste of space Nolan lumbering around, I think I genuinely hate the bloke.

Don't wanna start a new thread on it but is there going to be any announcement on who the captain is enxt seaso?. If it's still Nolan I will be in complete despair.

Re: So the game at Peterborough...
Yeah, probably not so much a spelling error than an error in word choice. Either way, it amused me so thank you for that

What actual position did Samuelsen play?

Re: So the game at Peterborough...
I thought we played a bit more of a passing game?

The odd long diagonal ball. To get the ball from right back to left midfield?
